Tomilola Monroe, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Hi there! I’m Tomi, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in helping high-functioning adults who are silently struggling with anxiety, mood instability, burnout, stress, and depression.
I understand the pressure to always be okay—especially as a Nigerian-American woman navigating expectations, identity, and the unspoken weight of being “strong.” I also know how confusing it can feel when your faith is solid, but you’re still struggling mentally or emotionally.
My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive strategies to help you find balance, build resilience, and feel more like yourself again. I take the time to truly listen and create treatment plans that align with your unique needs, values, and goals.
What drives me most is helping people rediscover joy, peace, hope, and strength—especially when life feels overwhelming. Faith plays a central role in my life, and I’m honored to integrate faith-based perspectives into care for those who desire it. Regardless of your background or beliefs, you’ll find a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
I completed my graduate degree at Walden University and have years of experience in diverse clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, correctional facilities, home health, hospitals, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.
My goal is to walk alongside you, empowering you with the tools and insight needed to heal, grow, and thrive—as we work together toward your new horizon.
